Feeling Better from the Moment You Touch the Keys

Clavinova Connection

You’ve always wanted to play music but, for one reason or another, never have. Or perhaps you used to play but quit. Maybe it’s a lack of time, maybe you think you have no musical talent or maybe the prospect of constant practice, learning to read music and surmounting the huge learning curve just doesn’t appeal to you. Yamaha developed the Clavinova Connection—the most innovative, enjoyable adult keyboard program ever—for people just like you.

This recreational music-making program puts the “play” in playing music. In a supportive group environment, you’ll play favorite songs from day one, even if you’ve never touched a keyboard before. Just as each of us learned to speak and sing before we could read, the Clavinova Connection enables you to play without struggling through the complexities of written music.

Beginning in the first session, not only will you play familiar songs, you’ll interact musically with others in your group and explore your creativity through improvisation and keyboard drumming. Together, you’ll discover the thrill of making music.

See The Light

We know you’ll succeed because we’ll literally light the way. The Clavinova Connection is made possible by the Yamaha Clavinova® CVP digital piano, an instrument with truly extraordinary features. For instance, lights above every key guide you through musical compositions. During each song, the Clavinova complements you with rich, fully-orchestrated accompaniments provided by exclusive Yamaha StarLIGHTSTM software. You’ll be amazed at how good you sound right away.

Healthy Fun

Playing music isn’t just fun, it’s good for you. Breakthrough research has shown that participating in the Clavinova Connection reduces stress at the DNA level! All sessions begin with a unique music/wellness exercise created by a physician to harmonize mind, body and spirit. Within minutes, you’ll feel more relaxed. As the tension melts away, the fun begins.

About Yamaha

Yamaha has been teaching music to children and adults around the world for over 50 years and we have created world-class musical instruments for well over 100 years. Many students of Yamaha educational programs have become professional musicians and music teachers; the majority have discovered in music something just as important as a career—a lifelong source of enjoyment that is also a positive, creative avenue of expression. Yamaha measures its success by both of these groups, as each fulfills the company’s goal of enriching lives through music.
